Itinerary
Most of our tour itineraries & packages are private as we aim to clear the ground for purely-cultural experiences while maintaining the delivery of personal service. However, we may take shared bookings on some occasions when the group (maximum 15) is already set. The featured price can change based on the number of passengers & the category of the Riads/hotels & Desert camp.
Please, note that the itinerary below is a sample for you to form an idea about the destinations you will be visiting. It can be easily customized based on your arrival time.
Day 1 – Tangier – Sidi Kacem – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Meet & greet upon arrival at the Tangier Ville Port, Tangier Med Port or at the Tangier Ibn Battuta Airport. Your English speaking driver will assist you with your suitcase, then drive through the highway to Fes. You’ll drive through one of the most fertile plains in Morocco that supplies the country with vegetables, fruits, sugar & wheat.
You’ll have a guided tour of the Roman Ruins of Volubilis before continuing on the track further south to Meknes. This mysterious city, which is often described as the Versailles of Morocco, was built by the late Sultan Moulay Ismail. The Sultan is one of the early founders of the current ruling dynasty “Alawites”. You’ll start your tour by the Bab “gate” Mansour, the biggest gate in Morocco & is beautiful with patterns & geometric designs.
You’ll stretch your legs in the olive market near the El-Hedim Square. Drive through the walls of the Royal Palace to the Royal Granaries & stables, where the Sultan used to store wheat & barley. It’s also where the 12.000 Royal Horses used to be looked after. In the evening, you’ll drive directly to Fes via the highway.

Day 2 – Explore Fes – Chefchaouen
Today, you’ll spend most of the day exploring what this Imperial City of Morocco has to offer with an English speaking local tour guide. You’ll drive uphill to enjoy the panoramic view of the Fes el-Bali (Oldest Fes). This district is listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage of Site and is the largest modern car-free districts in the world.
You’ll then drive to the Royal Palace to take pictures by its tremendous Golden Gates. After that, you’ll stretch your legs by the adjacent Mellah (Jewish Quarter), then get into the world of the Fes el-Bali.
Walking through the narrow alleyways of the Medina with its vibrant lifestyle, lined cafes, authentic shops and Funduks will take back to the Medieval Times. You’ll learn about the Koranic Schools (Medersas) including the Al-Quarawyine University, which is the oldest university offering formal education in the Islamic World.
You’ll visit the tanneries where leather is being made using traditional methods. In the late afternoon, you’ll say goodbye to Fes and head north to the blue city of Chefchaouen.

Day 3 – Explore Chefchaouen – Tangier
After having breakfast in your Riad/hotel, you’ll spend most of the day meandering around the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen. The buildings are surprisingly built in blue, which turns the city into one of the most popular destinations worldwide.
You’ll start your guided walking tour from the Kasbah, which is located in the heart of the Medina. This imposing structure used as a defense against the Portuguese invaders. The Sultan Moulay Ismail used as a main residence in the 17th century and the Spanish turned into a prison when Morocco was a Spanish Protectorate from 1912 to 1956.
From the Kasbah (fortress), you can continue your tour through the beautiful streets with its tiny shops selling small items with surprisingly affordable prices. You’ll get to the Ras el-Ma Spring, the views from here are majestic with local women doing laundry and boys playing soccer.
You’ll walk back to the main Square of Outta Hammam taking a different route. You may want to enjoy sipping a delicious mint tea while watching the passersby followed by a nice lunch. After that, you can resume your navigation through the nearby vibrant street. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive further north through the Rif Mountains to Tangier.

Day 4 – Full Day Exploring Tangier – End of Service
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, you’ll have a full-day guided tour of Tangier with a local English speaking private tour guide. You’ll start with a nice drive through the Ville Nouvelle crossing the California district with its fancy villas, palaces, and where the richest people of Tangier live. You’ll drive by the governor’s house, Royal Palace that overlook the Strait of Gibraltar.
You’ll get to the Cap Spartel where it’s believed the Atlantic Ocean & the Mediterranean Sea converge. The lighthouse that reveals a rich history, which is still in operation to this day guiding ships and boats. Have a refreshing drink while enjoying the miraculous views from here. After that, you’ll drive by the Atlantic Ocean to the Neolithic Caves of Hercules that reveal countless legends and myths.
You’ll drive back to the Kasbah of Tangier, you may visit the Kasbah Museum that was a Royal Palace. It has been turned into a museum exhibiting a wide collection of antiques from all over Morocco. Walk down to the vibrant Medina with its Souks including the Petit Socco & Grand Socco before transfer either to the port of Tangier or back to the location of your choice in Tangier.
