Itinerary
Most of our tour itineraries & packages are private as we aim to clear the ground for purely-cultural experiences while maintaining the delivery of personal service. However, we may take shared bookings on some occasions when the group (maximum 8) is already set. The featured price can change based on the number of passengers & the category of the desert camp.
Day 1 – Marrakech – Tnin Ourika – Aghbalou – Setti Fatma – Marrakech
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, your private English speaking driver will pick you up for a nice journey to the lush Ourika Valley. This place is an actual haven of peace & tranquility. It’s in here the beauty of nature is what you can only enjoy and appreciate.
After a short drive out of Marrakech, the High Atlas Mountains can be easily seen from afar. The mountains stand like a high wall dividing the southern part of Morocco from its northern. The first village you can make a visit to is the Tnine Ourika, especially if it coincides with Monday as the weekly traditional Souk (market) takes place here.
After that, you’ll visit a local Berber house offering the opportunity to learn about the lifestyle of the Berbers residing the mountains. It’s also possible to share a fresh mint tea with them. You’ll have the chance to take lots of pictures as the landscapes and the views are outstanding.
Once you arrive to the Setti Fatma Village, which marks the end of our drive. You may want to opt for having a short hike up to the beautiful waterfalls. You’ll then culminate the journey with a delicious lunch served by the ever-flowing river of Ourika under the sunlight.
In the late afternoon, you’ll drive back to Marrakech.
We’ll make sure to drop you off at your chosen accommodation or arrange with the staff members of your Riad. They can come over to escort you if you are staying within the old walls of Marrakech’s Medina.
